KCE is a Type B parastatal body funded by the federal government. Its annual budget is about € 12.8 million, of which 79.4% comes from RIZIV/INAMI and 20% from the Ministries of Public Health and Social Security. Additionally, the KCE Trials programme receives approximately € 12.3 million, fully funded by RIZIV/INAMI. (budget for 2025)
