Planned study - This study complements KCE report 379 on the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of lung cancer screening in the population. It will focus on the impact of lung cancer screening in terms of budget as well as staffing and infrastructure capacity. Sufficient attention will also be paid to the potential impact of managing incidental findings and to aspects such as the integration of smoking cessation. This would make it possible to take additional factors into account when assessing population-based lung cancer screening.
