The commissioned workstream aims to fund research to answer questions raised by stakeholders of the Belgian Health care system and the public health community. Healthcare and public health professionals, policy makers, patients and the public can help shaping the research agenda by submitting research topics to the commissioned workstream. Furthermore, possible research questions are identified by contacts with RIZIV/INAMI and other government organisations and in KCE projects such as evidence-based guidelines.
The prioritised research questions are advertised under the form of commissioning briefs and researchers are invited to submit applications to perform a study to answer the research question
