Data requirements for risk-adjusted capitation payments for community health centres in Belgium
KCE Reports 385C (2024)
The lump sums allocated to multidisciplinary general practices need to better reflect the characteristics of their patient population and the way they work. KCE was asked to develop a new method to calculate these lump sums. However, it soon became apparent that a number of data concerning workload and patient characteristics were not (yet) available or recorded in a uniform manner. Additional research will therefore be required before the actual method of calculation can be developed.
