Ongoing study - This project aims to measure the performance of the Belgian health care system with regard to primary and secondary prevention.
The latest general performance report (2024) included 13 indicators on preventive care. The aim of this thematic report is to perform a one-time assessment of a wider range of prevention indicators, some of which might be included in the next general performance report.
This project will tackle the following questions:
- Based on previous KCE reports, which prevention measures should be recommended in primary care for various population groups?
- What is the performance of the health system with regard to preventive care?
Key indicators will be selected from a long list in collaboration with external experts.
