On 28 November we held a KCE Trials Scientific Symposium in Brussels. We discussed drug repurposing, long-COVID studies, low value care, results from the GONOSCREEN and the PRECISE trials and the health data space. With over 150 participants, the event was a wonderful opportunity to network, exchange knowledge, and discuss the future of non-commercial clinical trials in Belgium.

Funding Opportunity – Call BeNeFIT-4 is currently open for submissions – deadline Jan 28th 2025
ZonMw and KCE Trials are joining forces again to fund collaborative research that will improve health outcomes for patients in Belgium and the Netherlands. There is a 9.2 million € budget for non-commercial pragmatic RCTs. The call will close on January 28th.
