3rd Symposium KCE Trials: Hot Topics in Clinical Trials: Developing Research Agendas, New Methods in Trials and Data Sharing, Thursday November 28th
The morning session will explore examples of the set-up and use of research agendas. This session will be followed by a keynote by Prof. Treweek on ways to improve the quality of clinical trials. Novel ways to implement pragmatic trials and data sharing policies will be the topic of the afternoon session.
More than 150 participants registered already ! Please check the agenda & registration page if you also wish to attend this symposium.
2019 investigator-led Call - closed
The call closed on the 17th September, and we’d like to thank all 14 applicants and their CTU/CTC collaborators that submitted a study proposal. These proposals will now be thoroughly examined by our three external advisory boards, and we will be able to get back to the applicants before the end of the year with an initial response.
Funded Studies and Dynamic Dashboards to follow the progress of recruitment
The KCE Trials programme is currently funding 14 clinical trials, with additional trials being negotiated and planned to start recruiting later this year or early next year. Currently, 41 Belgian hospitals (and 84 departments) are recruiting (or will recruit soon) patients in one of those studies. You can now follow their recruitment progress on our dynamic dashboards (updated every Friday). Trials that are recruiting patients in primary care or in other settings (nursing homes, mental health centres) will be added soon to those dashboards.
